I first met John in 1962 in David Brown Tractors ,Broadstone,Dublin when I was a trainee tractor service engineer with local D.B.dealer Coleborns of Dunlavin. John was always a real gentleman when we met through the years & will be greatly missed. Rest in peace John.

My condolences to the Maher family on the passing of John. Well over 40 and probably nearer 50 years ago my father bought his 1st David Brown tractor from John and drove it home to Cavan. As we left the yard John gave me a garden gnome for good luck. John and my father remained friends for many years and manys a chat and discussion on tractors was had. May John rest in eternal peace RIP
