John had his own take on the world and I always enjoyed the chats with him. Valleymount was never the same since his shop closed. Solas na bhFlaitheas do John. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.

John was such a lovely man. My Dad, John Healy, was his first cousin and stayed in touch right up to his own passing in 2019. Unfortunately I had not spoken to John in a while but he was often in my thoughts. He was very kind to my own family when we called in on him on our all too infrequent visits. Condolences to the family from myself and my wife Lorraine, my sister Sarah and husband Stephen, and brother Peter and wife Christine. A mass will be offered for John.
