I will always have fond memories of the fun I had growing up & our summer holidays every year to the lodge.
From playing football (with a small ball) in the living room (when everyone else popped out) & on occasion you having to save the ball from the coal fire, to collapsing each others camp bed in the front room when the other got into it!
Rest in peace uncle John.

Sincerest sympathy to the Manning family and friends. John had that great gift of getting the job done, while able to take the time to chat. He had a large network of contacts and got me out of a bind on more than one occasion. Post retirement l met John in Phibsboro from time to time and chatted away like the old days. Unfortunately I can't be there in person for the celebration of John's life but will be there in spirit and online. RIP John
Lord rest your soul John, one of the nicest people i have met in my career with Revenue.
