So sad to hear my former bandmate and good friend John has passed away . We had great years as members of Liffeyside and Strumpet City and travelled the Country playing gigs in top venues like The Gleneagle Killarney to The Baggot Inn in Dublin. He was a fantasic ballad singer with a very funny wit . I used describe him as a Finbar Fury and Brendan Grace rolled into one. Thanks John for the memories and the laughs . And the many stories of life on the music circuit , Bye and Rest in Peace
