Although l never met this person John…..What lovely, lovely, condolences and remembrance of him…..by all accounts….he was a great man!!!!! especially the message submitted from one of his granddaughter
That said it all…..of what…. her grandads presence……in her life meant to her!!!!!
He seemingly gave such great pleasure, help, encouragement to….so, so many people.
What a loss for his dear wife , his immediate family,
neighbours and friends who will so painfully grieve….. the immense void/loss of John in their lives!!!!
If people worldwide would just live like John did …..and learn valuable lessons……of the huge benefits John was in so many… peoples lives……we’d have a far better more lovely simple world !!!!!!!
May John go on now . along his final journey ……to a well earned and well deserved eternal peace…..

Very sad indeed to hear of John’s sudden passing. We have the warmest memories of John when he was with Gilbeys and would call to our parents Jûrgen & Áine. Many a glass of wine was enjoyed and they became very fond of John.
Recently he gifted us daughters a fine oil painting of our dad which we will always treasure.
He was one of life’s true gentlemen.

He was a popular and valued member of our Shed, John was multitalented and enjoyed music, painting and gardening. He spent many hours in the Polytunnels enjoying the fruits of his labour.
John was community minded and chaired the committee that introduced Allenwood Community Text Alert service. He was also active in the Willows residents association.
We will miss his wit, humour and integrity.

I will cherish our memories together; the time you spent bouncing on my trampoline and your attempts (although they mostly failed…) to teach me piano, amongst many others.
