Deepest sympathies to Nancy, Karen, Orla and Seán and extended family on John's passing. I remember John as a very proud father who always took the time to encourage all his children, especially Seán. Together John and Orla were the most formidable volley-ball team ("Blitz!"). We lost touch too long ago but kept thinking of you both as we followed our own destinies . We thought of you last year as we celebrated our 50th. We had so much fun and growing up together in the old beetle!

My condolences to John’s family. May John Rest in Peace. John was my biology teacher in the Regional College, 1971-1973. It was a pilot Leaving Cert. at the time. He was a great teacher and gentleman. Just for the record, I went on to study Natural Science with Biology at Trinity. College. I can understand how heart breaking John’s passing must be for you all, especially in these most challenging and difficult times. My prayers and best wishes to all the family.
