I was shocked and saddened to learn of John’s death. Condolences to the extended McKenna family. I have happy memories from the 1970s when I was stationed in Emyvale, staying in Emy and meeting your family. We had so much in common, a love of music puzzles and games.
Like yourselves I came from a large family. Your late mother introduced me to scrabble. Your late father and myself celebrated the same birthday. After a long illness John has now joined them in heaven. May they all rest in peace.
