John, you were a gentleman inside and out, you will be genuinely missed at Portlaoise AFC, but never forgotten.

Uncle John, you fought so hard for such a long time, and showed incredible strength and courage right to the very end. You were always generous and caring, and somehow managed to finish every conversation with that warm smile on your face.

I’m sorry I can’t make it home to say goodbye in person, but please know I’ll be thinking of you all the family. I will miss our catchups with the kids and Nana when we travel home and will always be forever grateful for all his help, kindness, and generosity over the years.
