Dear Aidan
My sincere sympathy to you and all of John's family on the very sad passing of John. It was such a pleasure to know John, he was always so kind, caring, thoughtful and generous. He was such great company, a joy to be around and he loved the craic.
I will always treasure the great times I had when I met John and Aidan in Dublin.

My most sincere condolences to the extended Morrissey family and Johns husband Aidan. John was an absolute gent and made me feel so at home in Enniscorthy when I arrived in 2008 and was stationed in the local Garda station until 2017. John Always had a kind word and was so efficient at making the lovely breakfasts along with Margaret and Sharon. Enniscorthy has truly lost a gentleman but he shall not be forgotten. Rest in peace John

John was one of the kindest and most caring people we have ever known. He touched the lives of so many people and will be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts are with Aidan and all of John’s family. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of John passing. It was hard to believe. I last spoke to John about two weeks ago in the shop and he was his usual cheerful self.
We know John for at least 30 years, used socialise with him, he was great company and a genuinely sincere man. Always asking about our family etc. Special sympathy to Mag and to Aidan whom I met down the prom now and then walking with John.

We're so saddened to hear of John's passing. He was the heart of Enniscorthy. As blows ins ourself, he always had a smile and a chat for us. He always asked my husband how his lovely wife was and has been the friendliest person we've ever met. He will massively missed. We will keep him in our thoughts each time we head to the shop for a coffee or ice cream.

Sincerest condolences to all of John's family and many friends. I was deeply saddened to hear of John's sudden passing. Enniscorthy town has lost one of its finest and kindest gentlemen.
No trip to Enniscorthy was complete for mam and I without a trip to the River restaurant. No one could cook a fry like John. I have many lovely memories of us chatting to him over the years. His personality lit up the restaurant.
His kindness to his customers especially the elderly was exemplary. He was a truly decent and kind man. May his gentle soul now rest in peace.
