JOHN MORRISSY

Very saddened to hear of John's passing. Fond memories of times past when the Fermoy cousins would visit the Morrissys in Kings Terrace. John had a lovely warm gentle personality and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Sincere sympathies to Trish, Kate, Angela, sisters Ursula and Kay and extended families and friends.

In 1978 when I joined Old Christians from school John took me under his wing, we won the Minor B cup that season, scoring 22 points during the four rounds and conceding 0, John never missed a tackle.
It was always great fun to be in his company and he was a great rugby man. May he rest in peace.

John Moss coached me at 7yrs of age up in Crosshaven RFC, playing alongside his son Peter. We had some great years that I'll never forget. He was a gent, such a nice man.
