Happy memories of Johnny going back 60 years when he sold ice cream and we were frequently the beneficiaries of an unsold block or two on his way home from work. My late uncle, Ronan, told me some of the tales about their escapades in the U.S. when he was there and from what he told me they lived life to the fullest. May he rest in peace.
