Dear Cliona - I have just learned of the passing of your Dad and your mom just before him. I am so very sorry to hear this - what a very sad and hugely difficult time for you and your brothers.
I had the pleasure of getting to know your dad and mom through Croi and I have a lasting impression of a devoted couple. Your dad was a tireless volunteer over many years and he was such a kind, warm and lovely man. In fact, he was the very definition of a gentleman. I am really saddened to hear of his passing and being so recently pre-deceased by your mom. What magnificent parents to have been gifted with. May they both rest in peace.

He was a wonderfully wise and gentle man with a huge kind heart . Our paths crossed many times in Breaffy,Galway and in the latter years in Barna . It brought much joy meeting both he and his adored Marguerite after mass on a Sunday . Rest in the peace of heaven both of you .

Cliona, I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad and also the very recent passing of your mum, such difficult times for you and your family, sending you my sincere condolences.

Very sorry to hear that John passed away so quickly after Margeurite. Remember the great care they gave to me in my first year in UCG in their home on Shantalla Road. They were an amazing couple, who were always very forward looking in so many ways. RIP John.

He was always an absolute gentleman and his calm and reasoned composure on everything was an shining example. At least they will be together again with Monica under the rustling trees of Breaffy.
