Sincere sympathy to Ann and James on the sad passing of your brother John. May His gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Great memories of John from the fun we had at York University to being tailed by the secret police in Cuba mistaking us for Americanos and of course not forgetting the torture he would inflict on the poor hi-fi salesman who just wanted to make a quick buck. Sadly ... it is 'later than you think'!
My deepest sympahy to John's family. I got to know him in the early 1980s through other friends. He was a gentleman.
My sincere condolences on the passing away of John. When I started work in Dublin Corpo back in 1991, I shared an office with John, who gave me the benefit of his knowledge and wisdom of both Town planning and Dublin Corporation; it was a good way to start a new job.
