Deepest sympathy to Marian and the family. My first job out of college in 1988 was in Nixdorf Computer working with John. He was such a lovely and kind hearted man and the perfect mentor. RIP.

Words cannot express the loss I feel and while I know your grief is unimaginable right now — you are loved so deeply. I will be here however I can to help you through this. John was one of the most amazing humans I’ve ever known and I’m so thankful you, Ian, Rhona, Ruth, and Niall shared him with us too. I’ll miss the laughs and the John Murray Breakfasts. I’ll miss the 99s and telling him my crazy stories. But most of all I’ll just miss knowing he was a phone call or video chat away.

To Rhona, Ruth, Ian, and Niall -
The loss of a parent is something that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I know that right now it might seem like a hill you cannot climb over, but day by day it’ll be a tad easier to breathe. It doesn’t get better, but we learn to adapt and I’m so glad you all have each other and Marian has each of you. You’re all wonderful kids to your parents and others should take a lesson from that! I’m here for whatever you need always.
