It's been a week since your passing John and I still can't believe you're gone. It was a privilege to have known and loved you and I will forever cherish the wonderful memories of our time together. God rest your gentle soul xx

Condolences to Johns' family on their loss. I only actually met John twice in Strandhill over the past couple of years and both times had lovely chats with him while going on one of my walks.

He tended the shrubs and trees just across from his house in Strandhill - and kept it so neat. Met him last Summer and I know he was missing his wife Carmel very much.

I got to know John when he came to work in Pure Fresh in Ballina many years ago. We enjoyed many journeys abroad with John.He was always the best of company and a perfect gentleman. Peace to your ashes John and the light of heaven to your soul 🙏 🙏
