Condolences Laura and to your family on the loss of your Dad. May he rest in peace.
My deepest sympathy on the passing of John. He was a wonderful man with great kindness, humor and a hearty laugh. He touched many people and left a lasting impression on us all. Kilpatrick may be a little darker, but Heaven is brighter. Rest in Peace.
I’ve been away so these few words of sympathy are belated yet most sincere. My heart goes out to Barbara and the whole family circle. I so much valued John’s company , wisdom and perspective especially during my CFO years. When humour was needed, he injected it … when common sense was required , he offered it…when support was required he provided it. And one always left his company feeling cheered. He also ( dare I say ?) amidst his own range of skills explored and pioneered the role of the clergy husband with generosity , faithfulness and sometimes quirky humour. I learned a lot from observing him ; a good man and a steadfast friend.
Very sorry to hear about Johns passing. He was a lovely neighbour who never failed to stop and say hello. Deepest condolences to all the family.
