John Nicholas (Noel) Carr

I first met Noel in the early '60's when I worked with Kavanagh Bros in Cross Street. Noel was a really lovely man who always had a big smile and a bigger personality. Bernie, the love of his life stiched my knee after I fell off a bike. Every time thereafter we would have a great laugh when Noel would say 'Bernie put you on your feet'. My deepest condolences to Bernie and all the family. May he rest in peace as I'm sure he will.

I was so sad to hear of Noel's passing. I have so many fond memories of Noel and I was so happy to meet up with him when I was last home in Galway, little knowing at the time that this would be our last meeting.

He was such a gentleman and a pleasure to meet on each and every occasion.

Heavan will benefit from having such a generous and funny man joining them.
