I will always remember fondly our first meeting at a family wedding when he entertained us by turning his glasses upside down to do his impression of Denis Taylor. A generous and kind man who welcomed everyone.

The first time I met Noel was in the Aras, No better place for such a nice kind and caring gentleman. I was having a bad day at the Stud and he got the message.. He took charge and sorted me out. I often relate how kind he was that day. We will miss him sadly. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

He was a decent, loving Christian man. Take comfort that he lived a good life to the full making many friends along the way.

In our minds, we can hear Noel's inimitable and comical recitation of the poem 'The Green Eye of the Yellow God'.
