John (Noelie) Brady

So sorry to hear of the death of Noelie. He was a work colleague for a great number of years, times that now seem so normal. Always obliging, helpful as well as lighting up the place with a good story.

So sorry to hear that noelie passed away.had not seen him for over 40yrs. We met in st Vincent's hospital a short time ago. Had a good chat about old tims in the noggin.r.i.p.

I worked with Noelie when i first joined posts and telegraphs in the early 70's. What struck me about him was his sense of fun and friendliness. It was always a joy to work with him. He would slag me for singing David Bowie songs as we went from house to house, but i think he secretly enjoyed it. He worked hard and had fun doing it.
