Sincere sympathy to the O'Brien family - to Judith, Paul, Ellen, on your father's death. I am one of the Irish cousins; we met so many years ago, but John and I corresponded for many years. I kept and still treasure all his letters. When John and I went to the Internet, the letters were few and far between. I missed them and wrote to him, planned to write again and then I saw his obituary. My grandmother was a Condon. So was John's mother. My grandmother, Nora Condon Scanlon, left Mitchelstown before the end of the century, my grandfather, John Scanlon, followed her here, and they married. They had six children. I would love to stay in touch with someone in the family, but I am not sure how to do it. I used to see Matty's posts but not any longer. I didn't know his last name, so I don't know your married name, Judith. Or where you now live. Perhaps someone will fill me in. My address is the same: 113 Church Street, South Easton, MA, USA.
