We are very saddened to hear of the death of Mr O Connell. I know, as for most of the kids on the road that, one of our earliest memories is of us all squashing into his green Ford Cortina heading to school. Fighting over who got to sit on the leather seat and who we had on our laps on a cold morning, or who got to sit in the front next to you Fiona. Each of us taking it in turns to say prayers. Mr O Connell always took an interest in us growing up. Always stopped to enquire how we were. Always kind. May He rest in peace.
