So sorry to hear of the Death of one of nature’s Gentlemen. It was my great privilege to be a distant cousin but even better to begin a friendship with John around 1998, when Captain of Newcastle West Golf Club, based in Ardagh. One always felt better having met John, and you always knew he was glad to meet you. Regretfully I did not meet John for some time. Sincere sympathy to his family on the death of a lovely man. RIP.
