It is with much sadness that we've heard of our good friend John's passing. Heartfelt condolences to all the O'Donoghue family especially John's three daughters. Many is the happy day that I spent working with John in Galway. There was always plenty of fun and craic when John was around.
John I'm so proud to be able to call you my friend. It's been an honour and a privilege to have known you.

So sorry to hear of my good friend Johns passing. 🧡. He was of a similar age to myself and we had a lot in common(gaa, soccer, golf, immigration work).we met on a site in galway and i have to say that we got on like we knew each other all our lives.. we worked, played golf and met up occasionally for a pint. He was great fun to be around and was always witty and had great banter. I was working with him when he 1st got diagnosed with the MN. He fought the great fight and never had anything negative to say about his path.. would anyone else be as brave i wondered....
I'm so glad to have been your friend John. Lets meet again some day and have the crack...
