I am so saddened to hear of John’s passing. He has been a great next door neighbour. I will miss his friendliness, his music, the twinkling lights and that great sense of fun and devilment he had. Rest peacefully John, you will certainly be missed.

Dee I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your lovely dad. I have very fond memories of the Monday nights I spent in your house when we were in the RTC in the early ‘90s. May flights of Angels sing John to his rest. The funeral mass this morning was a lovely spiritual send off for your Dad. I worked with John for many moons in the furniture dept, Roches Stores, he was such a lovely Supervisor, with a very caring nature & a fab-u-lous sense of humour. Cobh, he used to always pronounce as Cob--H. Sincere sympathy to all who knew & loved John, reunited once again with his beloved Margaret, who sadly departed this planet 37 years ago. Thanks for the fun times John & the good memories. 🙏
