Dear Mary, Eileen & Michael. Offering my sincerest condolences on the passing of your brother and my "great mate in crime" JOD. His passing came as a shock. We had such great times together especially when we worked together opening "Murphy's" In Ballina. He suggested that i should apply to work on the QE2 which i proceeded to join. John was the ultimate professional, show man & raconteur! He certainly knew how to work customers in a room like no other!. It was John whom introduced me to the only type of Champagne there is, so he is still responsible! We also enjoyed a day or 2 at the Galway Races... Too too too many fun memories & stories to tell but one day we will do so together again John. R.I.P. Enda Hughes. Co Mayo & Manly. Sydney

John was always a young loveable character in those days and grew into a kind and gentle adult who will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.
