Aoife, Jenny, Fiona & Sinead our sincere condolences to you on the passing of your dad. Remember him well from our time in Riyadh. He was always in great form and up for a laugh. Your mother was the first person I met in Phillips Ericsson Compound, in the video library (if my memory serves me correctly). She told me about all the wonderful travelling I would be doing from Riyadh and she was right! May she, too rest in peace.

Very sad to hear that John has passed away, he was a real gentleman and a pleasure to know. It was through the wine business that I met him and he was great to work with, his tastings were always fun for customers and interesting for staff, he just had a great way of meeting and talking with all kinds of people. I just heard the very sad news of Johns passing. I only met John on a few occasions over the years through wine events or tastings in-store. He always spoke of the happiness with his late wife , daughters and grandchildren. With work he was the true professional but also a complete gentleman. Conversation was easy and staff and customers were very fond of him. May he rest in peace and take comfort knowing he is now with his late loving wife Jean. My sincere condolences to his daughters, grandchildren, extended family & circle of friends.

To John's family - our sincere sympathies to you all on the sudden passing of John. We worked with John over the past 10 years when he sold his family's wine into the Dublin Airport. He was always in great form & always spoke fondly of his time in Aer Rianta International. We met him a few months ago & he told us about the sudden passing of his beloved wife Jean. I have happy memories of visits to Milltown from England as a child - visiting John and Jean was always a big part of those visits and one we looked forward to so much.
