Heartfelt Sympathies to the O’Halloran Family, to Mary, Daragh, Wilma, Pat and Breda and all the wider Family of O’Hallorans, on the Tragic Passing of John. Ye are much Loved by all who know you, for your Great Kindness, earnest Friendship and true Loyalty. I really Feel genuinely Lucky to have known ye for so Long and to have shared so many Great times, Stories, Chats about Life, the town of Ennis, Eire Og Hurling and in particular on Politics with Pat and John and our old Friend Frankie Coote at Eire Og’s Clubhouse.

John was always very Friendly, he had a very warm and easy smile and was a real Gentleman. He was great to run into at any time and would always stop up and Chat. My unabiding image of John was of tending to his prize winning Garden on Cahercalla Hill or of otherwise walking his dogs down it, for he surely was the fittest 80 years + man I knew in Ennis.

That is how I will remember John and I won’t lie it will be hard to go up that Cahercalla Hill without feeling the awful regret that he is no longer with us.

Here’s to the Day we can all meet again in Heaven.

Whenever John walked past our house, he’d give us a big wave. When he’d call in for a chat, he was always friendly, warm, and considered. John helped make Cahercalla Road a great place to live. May he rest in peace. Our deepest condolences to Mary, Darragh, Wilma, and to all John’s family.

I was lucky enough to able to call John not only my close neighbour but a good friend also. Many a chat we had about life, rugby, Eire Og, cars, whiskey, gardening and happiness. John shared his life experiences with me and offered me guidance in my journey. He always had a smile and bit of slagging when we met. He loved his Mary, Daragh and Wilma dearly and often told me stories about them and how proud he was of them. He was everyone’s friend on the road. Rest in peace John my friend.

I wish to convey my sincere condolences to John's family on the very sad news of his passing. I worked alongside John in the Airport Police/ Fire and sea rescue service in Shannon Airport. John was a great colleague with a wonderful humour. It was an honour and a privilege to have known John, he was always on the slipway to give his guidance when we returned with the rescue launch.
