John was so many things, a larger than life personality, a great sportsman (Bowling & Golf), a loyal friend, a true champion of the underdog and always the life and soul of the party. We had the pleasure of accompanying John on the occasion where he was awarded "The Personality of the Games" at the GB Special Olympics Games in Glasgow. He will be sadly missed. RIP John.
