Uncle John (and Aunty Nell too) were always hugely welcoming and kind to me and any of the NZ O’Learys that travelled back to the farm to catch up with family. I felt like part of the family. Uncle John’s big gentle smile and wonderful reminiscing of my dad and their childhood will remain treasured memories of mine. Uncle John was a lovely man who valued family and connection and a good chat. He will be missed.
