Many years ago, John took the time to explain to me the intricacies of flying into Castlebridge. Even then, I knew he was a special man. He had a rare gift for making the complex feel simple, and an even rarer gift for making people feel at ease. A caring, generous, and infectious soul, whose company was always a pleasure and a privilege. His memory will stay with me, and with all who were lucky enough to know him.

Go mbeadh tú i gcónaí ar dheis Dé, a Sheáin.

From all that we have heard, he was a wonderful man, and his life as a pilot speaks to a spirit of adventure, dedication, and care for others. While words can never ease the pain of losing someone so special, we hope you find comfort in the many memories you shared and in knowing how deeply he was loved and respected.

Please know that you are in our thoughts, and we are sending you strength and warm wishes during this time of sorrow.

With sincere sympathy,
