Rest well John after a good life so well lived pursuing your dreams. You achieved so much but your biggest achievement was that you were a really decent human being and everyone who had the good fortune to meet you loved you.
I can see you now in music heaven cajoling the greats into your studio to jam with the Celestial choir as backing singers. Rock on John.

So sad to hear of John's passing, my deepest condolences to Mary, Kojii, Daniel and John's grandchildren. I'll forever remember John as a great musician, songwriter, musical mentor, and a great friend. introducing me to so many musical artists I'd never been exposed to.
John's real gift (for me anyway) was encouragement and belief in what you were doing. Even if you didn't believe in your own abilities, he was there, believing in you. Always giving his time, he was a great teacher, and loved by all, a true gent.

I worked with John for many years in the Probation project, it was an honour working with him, John was very generous in sharing his knowledge and expertise, he had a real belief in people's abilities and capacity to change and delivered the above with patience, understanding and a wonderful sense of humour. Anne, Mick , Liam , Mary and All the Burke Family- We are very sad at the news of the death of our cousin Seán. My memory of Seán from my many summers spent in Hillsbrook Ave., was of a very soft spoken but witty teenager who always had a twinkle in his eye and who was always very kind to his little cousin-ie Myself( Mary,Rowley) . His passing is a great loss to all his family. May he Rest In Peace.
