Dads are special, one offs, guardian angels and John was definitely that! Although he seems far away right now, he isn’t that far away really , he is all around all of you, watching over you with love. Once a guardian angel, always a guardian angel ❤️

The one and only...John Parker.
A true Gentleman.
You would light up any room, with your dashing good looks, charm, and laughter, and a smile that melted a million hearts.
We will miss your kindness, the way you thought of others, and your helpfulness. We will remember your wit, your wonderful stories, and your brilliant sense of humour, and most importantly, we will remember, the immense, unwavering, deep love you had for Mary, Clare, Oliver, & Pippa.
Mary has lost her other half, her life, her best friend. Clare has lost her confidante (your special chats, which will fill her heart for ever), her recycling partner & handy-man tee hee, and her general best tea / coffee buddy, in the world. Oliver and Pippa have lost their amazing, magnificent, special Grand 'Dad'.
Thank you for always asking after me and for the chat we had whilst you were in hospital, I shall treasure it.
I know you will continue to watch over, love, care, and guide your beautiful family, and you will continue to blow good breeze on them.
You've left a gigantic hole in their hearts, John.
Rest easy, Legend.
Love & Light.

Your humer and laugher will be well missed, you are looking down from heaven over your family and friends, will see you again in the next world, best of luck pal, xx henry
I was so sad to hear the passing of such a great husband, father and friend.
John has left this world but has left such a lasting impact on soooo many lives.
I speak personally when I recall how as a young teenager playing football for johns team how he was like a father and friend to absolutely every one. No one was left out and his funny sense of humour had me in stitches.
I credit him with me now running a youth football team as what he gave to me is well worthy to be able to share and pass to other young men.
I shall miss my friend and while our hearts will never be the same the memories we have last a life time and are passed on to others.

John was a lovely kind man with a big heart and a generous nature. Quit a character with a wicked sense of humour who will be terribly missed by all who knew him.
An absolute gent of a human being and a great laugh! Always smiling and laughing and trying to make you smile and laugh no matter what, even in his times of illness.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Mary, Clare and the rest of the family who I know will be missing him very dearly. He will always be looking out for you all and always smiling down.
May he rest in peace.

My dear John,
Oh how l will miss you... life will never be the same without you.
I am heart broken 💔, facing life without you. The fun and laughter we had everywhere in the house, and l can still hear your laugh.
All the years we spent together from signing the marriage register, we were a partnership, helping you with your business and the great fun we had in our pubs. What great time's we had together, making special friends and so many memories along the way.
Where did all those year's go?
You were taken away too soon from me, and my life will never be the same. l know you are looking down on me, and guiding me along this journey that l must travel now.
I will always love you and never forget you, until we meet again.
So sleep tight my love.
Mary ♥ ❤ 💕 ♥

John will be sadly missed. Him and Mary were gracious, generous hosts on our golfing trips to Ireland and I will always cherish the laughter and good times we shared.
In Loving Memory of John
John was a gentle soul — elegant in presence, kind in heart, and gracious in every gesture. His sweetness and refined manners left a quiet imprint on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was the kind of man whose dignity never needed to raise its voice, and whose warmth was felt simply by being near.
"His life was gentle, and the elements
So mixed in him that Nature might stand up
And say to all the world, 'This was a man.'"
William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar
May his memory remain as steady and noble as the life he lived.

We always think and pray that friendship’s we are blessed with to encounter along our journey through life will live forever .
But alas we don’t !!!
Not knowing what to say as my words escape me .
But I do know that my memories of John will never fade xx
I had the pleasure ( hopefully he would have thought the same ? Ha ) of meeting him at football in the early 90’s …
I gave him advice on the sidelines and it made him the manager he was ( we decided not to tell anyone about this
Haha )
What a great manager and people person he was ,and it played out on the pitch with great results !!
A wonderful family to be in the company with
Mary , Clare and James to me were an extension of John
All full of laughter and joy x
Your shining light for life will shine on through your fantastic family x
So dearest John
Thanks so much for the laughs and advice you gave me
Thanks for the drinks we had together
And thanks for the family you love and cherish that I got to know and love x
I’ll raise a Guinness for you Mr P

Our sincerest condolences to Mary, Clare and family on Johns sudden passing. We have been neighbours for the past few years and John was always a gentleman to talk to and had a lovely sparkle in his eyes. If I ever met John, Mary you were always there too. It was easy to see how close you were and he always talked about his children and grandchildren, a man who loved his family for sure. And such a great gardener and worker. May he R.I.P.

It was an honour to know this man. A gentleman in every respect. He was an example of how a true man behaves, a paragon of respect, duty and a quiet grace. He will never be fogotten as his legacy lives on still shining bright.

Dear Mary, Clare, James, and family. I was so sorry to hear about John's passing and wanted to send my condolences to you all at this very sad time. I will always remember John with great fondness, from tales of football and athletics to watching Frozen when no one else wanted to (he liked it!). I know there must be a hole in your hearts that will never be fixed, but hearing kind words from people that knew him will give you comfort through these difficult times. Sending you all my love and strength xxx
My late husband Michael(Mick) and myself go back a long way to the sixties. Mick used to play football with John for Battersea Park Rovers I believe they were called. John was a very good looking chap and always immaculately dressed. You always knew John was in the room by his voice and laughter. He was always full of mischief and fun. We used to go to parties at his aunt Mabel’s flat, I think that was her name, all John’s family would be there including his granddad Horace who was a larger than life character, if I remember right they used to call John Horace as a nickname and he did have a lot of his granddad in him. John was so happy when he met his lovely Mary and they married and had their beautiful children Clare and James. He was so proud of his grandchildren and a real family man. I can’t imagine what the people of Blessington made of a real London boy! I like to think of John with Mick sharing a joke and a pint of beer. RIP John you are sadly missed. God bless the family. Xxxx

John was truly a lovely man and a true gentleman. I have many fond memories of John over the years. He had a wonderful, dry sense of humour that could make everyone laugh with his sharp and witty observations.
John worked hard all his life for his family, and I know anyone who worked with him would tell you what a perfectionist he was in his work. I know how deeply he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a great man with a great presence and I know that his passing will leave a huge gap in your lives. Although he has passed to the other side, he will never be forgotten.
May he Rest in Peace.
