I never got the privilege to meet Grandad since I grew up, but I have heard many stories of when I was taken as a baby to Dublin to see him I cried the whole time I was there apart from the last day and from that point he said no more kids in the house. I was invited by my Mum and Paul to join them in early 2019 to come over to see him I was unfortunately able to make it and I do regret not going and seeing him and wish I could go back and tell myself to go

He will forever be in our thoughts and memories, He will be greatly missed and may he rest in peace

My sincere condolences on John's passing. John was a dear friend A light has gone out of my life. The light of heaven to him. Watching Liverpool play and a few small jemmies with him was always a highlight in my week. His work with the Poor Clares over many years made lasting friendships with all the Sisters there.
