It was with great sadness that we just learned of John's untimely death.R.I.P. Sincere condolences to you Yvonne, Vera , all John's nephews and extended family and friends. Lovely memories of John and all the family visiting our home in Lacken.

Deepest condolences to family and friends of John. John was a real gentleman. He was great to have a chat with on Grafton Street when he wasn't busy on the stall. Full of stories and anecdotes that would bring warmth and humour to our days. Rest in Peace John.

I was so very sad and sorry to hear of John’s sudden death. John was a well known figure on Grafton street, where he worked for many years selling Celtic jewellery. He was an expert on all things Celtic & loved to educate & entertain the many tourists and locals alike with the myths, symbols & tales of ancient Ireland. John was proud to be a writer. He had a lovely manner about him & was kind, caring and conscientious. Mostly i will remember him for his love and care of his family, who meant so much to him. He will be so sadly missed. So sorry to hear of the sudden passing of John. My sincere sympathy to Yvonne, Vera and families.

I remember when we were kids going to Croke Park for my first time with John and his Dad. John and I were selling programmes. He on one side of a main entrance and me on another, roaring like foghorns " Get your match programmes, official programmes!". When we had no programmes left, and no voices!, we went for the sweets and icecream, then into the stand for the big game.Enjoyable Happy Days and Memories.

I remember growing up in Shelton John was great for sharing the music LPs. My first hearing of sgt.peppers 1977. A great memory. Thanks John.

I'm very sad to hear of John's sudden death, he was a very kind and much loved man in Dublin. May he rest in peace, somewhere within sight of willow and stumps.

I had the pleasure of working with John over many years and he was a very kind and lovely man to be around. He would never leave without telling you a joke or making you smile and that is how I will always remember him. I am so sorry to hear what happened and I send my condolences to the Kelly family.
