Immense sympathy Xandra for the terrible shocking loss you must be feelings at Pine’s death.! We know your sadness and thoughts must be almost unbearable but take comfort from the sincere and lovely tributes so many friends are writing of Pine which will give you strength and help you through this bewildering time . Pine would visit Belmont lock 33 on various occasions and had a keen interest in the operation of the lock infrastructure, especially the sluice mechanisms.
