Condolences to all of John’s family. I don’t think I know any of you. I was in Kieran’s with John and knew him well at school. We always had the crack. Then after leaving, like so many others, he was gone. About six or seven years ago I bumped into John in a shop somewhere I think. He had me copped and blaguarded me until I realised who I was talking to. It was great to meet him. I met him once since that day and I’m really glad we were reacquainted. I’m sorry I couldn’t make the funeral. Work.

I met John while working in st columbas. What a true gentleman. He always stood to say hello to all the staff . Was warm friendly and kind. He was always smiling a vistor we have never forgotten. Very sad to hear this news . Rest in peace John.

So so sorry Gillian to hear about the loss of John..😪.my memories of John goes back years ago..!!! remember John and I use to take trips to Waterford by train to see you and my ex back then ,and I have fondly memories about John and he would making sure I was ok and would look after me with my luggage etc.. totally a gentleman!!
