Only heard about John today
I played golf with John in Old Conna until 2013 .A lovely fella I always enjoyed his company.One day John,Shay Devlin and I all birdied the par 3 eight hole at same time.We were so happy.

He was always in good form and never had a bad word to say about anybody or anything. I met him in Dunnes Stores recently and he was in his usual good form and looking forward to getting back to golf after his knee operation.I will miss our banter on the golf course and in the car park. RIP John.
