Andrew,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your dad. I recall him from school years as a fine man and note up to the present day, you frequently would bring him into the discussion by way of a comment, phrase or small piece of wisdom. Take care and may he rest in peace.
Our sincere condolences to Sean's family at this very sad time. We had the pleasure of a hike led by Sean with the Irish Ramblers club some years ago.
Dear Andrew, our sympathy on the loss of your dear Dad. May all the happy memories comfort you.
Meeting Sean for the first time in the late sixties,
his enthusiasm and love of the outdoors was
clearly evident.
With his beloved Tony, or the " Mighty Quinns" as
they were unofficially known, they were quite a sight
to behold, striding over so many mountains and hills
with The Ramblers Club.
On camping weekends , he was always very well
equipped and eager to share , either a sandwich , or
his great knowledge of mountain skills.
My sincere condolences to Ann and his family .
May Sean rest in peace

Sincere sympathy to all the Quinn family on the death of Sean. I worked to Sean in the Dept of Local Govt in Housing Rents and Tenure Sn when Sean was Principal Officer. He was hugely committed and passionate about the needs of the poor and the critical importance of good housing policy and practice. Always decent and courteous to everyone, full of integrity and with a good sense of humour with it all. Rest in peace

Dear Shauna and family,
Our sincerest sympathy to you all on your sad loss. May your Dad rest in peace.
Have been friends with Sean since the 1950's when we were learning German in the Irish German Society. We walked and youth hostel led with Die Wandergruppe.
With the demise of the I.G.S we helped set up the Irish Ramblers Club, with Sean its first President.
Some years later we set up the family outdoor group Na Coisithe.
We enjoyed the company of Sean and Ann, on walks, weekends and at social events.
Our sincerest sympathies to Ann and family
