I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my cousin John Walsh, he was a truly remarkable man who meant so much to so many.

John was not only a wonderful father but also an extraordinary grandfather, and his loss leaves an indelible void in our lives.

His dedication and hard work were truly inspiring, and his love for his family was evident to all who knew him. He poured his heart into every aspect of his life, leaving behind a legacy of love and commitment that will never be forgotten in the community.

Please accept my deepest condolences, and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you navigate this challenging period of grief.

John's spirit will forever shine through the lives he touched, and his memory will be cherished in my heart and the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May you all find find solace in the love and unity of your family as you remember and celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man.

I remember staying with the Walsh Family in Dungarvan on my summer holidays while growing up in Ireland and John was always welcoming and took great joy in showing myself ( and Saranne ) around the area exploring.

Playing with John was always an enlightening experience, not so much with regard to the golf but in learning about the flora and fauna around the course. Where will I start…. John and his late wife Celia were both great people. I had pleasure to known both of them. They were one of few people in this country, who were genuinely nice to me . As a stranger to country and customs - they always offered help and encouragement. John was great man, loved by so many.. including my two doggos Saoirse and Sadhbh.
