It is with great sadness to hear that John has passed. John was a lovely man & spend many hours teaching with John in Bolton st & in Italy as you know as well as the social Pinter two.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get to the funeral & Our thoughts are with you both & the extended family.

I am very sorry to hear about John's passing. As external examiner for several years at the DIT, I had the pleasure of collaborating with John, also when he brought students to the Ligurian International Workshop in Italy. John was not only supportive and kind to all students. He also managed io bring out the best qualities in every single student.

So sad to hear of Johnny's passing. He was always so Kind and entertaining, especially when we as teenagers, gathered in groups at the corner of Leinster street on those sunny summer evenings. Even then, he was the world wise pedagogue, departing weird and wonderful secrets of the world.
