Just learnt of John's passing today, very sorry to hear it. He was so supportive to me in my GAA research, a thorough gentleman. Sincere condolences to his family. May his memory be a blessing.

Dear Eilish,Maurice and Cathal. I was so sorry not to be at John’s funeral but I am out of the country at the moment. My deepest sympathies are with you all and your extended family. John who was always a gent with a ready sense of humour and held such good counsel will surely be very sadly missed by all who knew him. Very special memories of my time working with John and all at airport ops and info centre. May he rest in the bed of heaven.
