Deepest sympathy to the Reilly family and extended family and friends of John, may his gentle soul rest in peace, like anyone who passed through Maisie & Johns home it was a joy & a true welcome from both, although I felt John may not have remembered me when I visited him in the Nursing Home he still gave that warmth of a welcome and he’d express his joy by singing me a song before I left, he will be sadly missed but remembered as a true gentleman xx

Very sad to hear of the passing of John. A proper gentleman. We can never forget the years he spent coaching & mentoring our young footballers. He was familiar figure as he travelled the parish on his Honda 50. Rest in peace John
