How lucky was I to have such a wonderful brother? He was kind, generous and of course, very funny. I like to think that I taught him well but I cannot take any credit for his ability to make every one he had dealings with feel like they were so important and valued. He adored Clare and his children and I know they made him very happy. We will all miss him terribly. #legend
I just found out that John passed away. I dealt with John over several years on a business level but we always had time for a chat and I found John to be one of life's true heroes and an absolute gentleman at all times. I know he will be greatly missed by not only his family and friends but all the children that he looked after.

So so sad to hear the news of Johns passing, John was a true gent an amazing teacher and a joy to work with in my first year teaching in what was then archbishop Ryan NS, John was one as a learner young or old pupil or teacher you could ask anything and he would seek to reassure , inspire or indeed motivate you. Rest in peace dear sir I have no doubt you leave a special legacy in many a teacher, parent and child in Balgaddy and around the many towns and counties the many teachers who moved on from Archbishop Ryan moved on to.
