So sorry to hear of the passing of Master Riordan. He taught Taekwondo firstly to my daughter Ciara and to her sons Rhys& Fionn McCoy. I first met Grandmaster Riordan at a Taekwon-Do event 31 years ago. From the beginning, he was so welcoming, respected, and admired by all. He was a true leader, an exceptional coach, and an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable teacher—someone we all tried to make proud. He worked hard, loved a good joke, and loved his family so much. He was so proud of you and the boys Claire.

He is a tremendous loss to this world. Rest in eternal peace, Sir.

GM John played instrumental role in the development of Taekwon-do in the South West of Ireland over many decades.

His hard work and dedication helped to make Taekwon-do a household name.

Indeed, he was a well respected practitioner in both domestic and international ITF Taekwon-do circles.

He was a close friend of mine who shared our love of scuba diving. Indeed we both got promoted to 9th Degree on the same day.
John was also fond of my deceased brother Tom.

Words can never explain the loss felt I guess.

I pray for his immediate family that they find strength during this difficult time.
