John was great teacher and inspired so many who came into contact with him, I have fond memories of learning taekwondo in Cahersiveen and the community he created around the club. May John rest in peace in his heavenly home.

Deeply saddened to hear this news and extend my sincere condolences to the Riordan family. John was an incredible teacher with a deep passion for Tae Kwon Do, and he had a remarkable way with children. He taught me from the age of four through to sixteen, and his guidance, patience, discipline, and values have greatly influenced who I am today. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

I watched his Funeral Mass yesterday beautifully celebrated by Fr Keane with heartfelt contributions from both families . Though his life was brief he made an incredible impact on everyone around him .

I remember John growing up as a young boy around the Burger Shack with his brothers Pat Tim and Paul. Where his Parents John n Mary worked so diligently and was so proud of all their son’s achievements.
God rest your gentle soul John and may you be at peace in your Heavenly Home until we all meet again.
Look down on your beloved Claire and boys and keep them safe and healthy and take good care of them.

Grand Master Riordan opened his dojang doors to me when I needed it the most with his welcoming, kind and caring heart.
