John was a kind and gentle person. I had the pleasure of knowing him for many years. The last time I met John was a few months ago in a mutual friend’s back garden. He was there to have his hair cut by the resident hairdresser! As ever, we had a great chat and a good laugh together.
I was devastated when I heard the news of his sudden passing.
I shall remember John always with love and affection.
