There was never a dull moment when John was around. He earned the respect and gratitude from his colleagues because of his commitment and dedication in the job. May John’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

I was very shocked and saddened to learn of John’s sudden passing. To his family I wish to pass on my deepest condolences on such a great loss. It was always my pleasure to meet John at the Aiken gigs, he had a great sense of humour and will be greatly missed by all his Aiken work colleagues. May John rest in peace.

My heart is breaking John, over sixty years as your Welsh cousin. Distance meant nothing as we always regularly kept in touch, shared a wicked sense of humour and the love of a jemmy.
