We were extremely saddened to hear this news. He used to visit our office over the years & was always very friendly & full of chat. He was a real gentleman. May John now rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear about John's passing. I knew John through our time in TCD, saw him every day, we had such fun times in our little group. Such a wonderful man, a kind, gentle soul and indeed like many have echoed a true gentleman with such a huge heart. Since I moved to US post college we'd lost touch but reconnected in early summer when I heard about his illness. He was so upbeat and positive about the challenging journey, like he always was about everything in life. Gone to soon, rest in peace my friend. You will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to his whole family.

John Rogan was the epitome of positivity. I value hugely our time working together with the Rock Union. Whatever the situation, John would find a way to make things work and he leaves behind a rich legacy to his family, his friends, the Union and all other parts of his life as referenced in these condolences.

John and Nikki’s wide circle of friends was evidenced by the huge attendance at the funeral on Friday. I hope the Rogan family can draw comfort from that attendance and the absolutely genuine love and support for a great man.

Dear Simon, the Rogan family, and John's wife and kids,

I was heartbroken to hear of John's passing, he was truly a gent. One of the kindest people I have met and always full of positivity.
We were blessed with daily visits in the Mater Private from John, and always felt the better of it after speaking with him. John had a way of making you feel invincible and "Amazing". His smile was infectious, and his presence brought joy to everyone lucky enough to know him. He had time for every single person he met, which is such an admirable quality in a person. I hope that everyone who met him takes something from the person he was. He will be missed by so many.

I hope you find comfort in all of the people he had an impact on. He spoke of nothing more fondly than he did of his family, his wife and kids who he gushed about whenever he got the chance! He would have been immensely proud of the service that was put on for him, and how well everyone spoke.
