Deepest sympathies - I knew John for many years during my active time on committee, etc. at St. Sylvester's GAA Club. He was a true gentleman and well liked by all.
John was always a gentleman and made me feel very welcome when he was Chairman of St Sylvester's GAA club. There was something very decent and gentle about John. Always smiling and in good humour. He worked away quietly for the club and never sought the limelight. I will miss meeting and chatting to him. My smypathy to his family. May he rest in peace. Frank Malone Malahide
