So very sorry to hear of John's passing. Such a kind generous person with a wicked sense of humour and gentle presence . A huge loss for all his family.

I didn't know John long, but will remember him for his wry sense of humour and kindness. He was always pleasant company when we met in Wexford. I will be forever grateful for the amazing act of kindness that helped get me back to my family abroad before xmas, it was real act of selflessness for someone he hadn't known for long, but someone who will remember his kindness for a very long time. My condolences to the family.

Memories of Johnny, as he was known to his friends, pushed through the rains and winds today. Through our early teenage years we shared music, friends and much more. Your thoughts and philosophies on life were deep and evolved for such a young boy and we admired you for all of it.
I am sitting here wishing we had reconnected in later years, but I will treasure you in my heart alway.
