Only today I heard of Sammy's passing. My deepest condolences to his obviously loving family. I went to national school with Sammy and we were great friends. He had the sea running through his veins. We used to talk endlessly about the sea together. I haven't seen him in years, but I never forgot him. He was wise, gentle, kindly, and humorous. May he now rest in the peace he so rightly deserves.
